Surgevolt Electrical Steps Up To Support NMLI
We want to say a massive thank you to Ike Eastwood from Surgevolt Electrical who has just donated £300 to No Man Left Inside. Ike is an absolute champion for backing the movement and his generous donation will go directly toward supporting men who are fighting tough mental health battles.
Local businesses are the backbone of our community and when an owner steps up to fund grassroots support it makes a genuine difference to what we can achieve on the ground. This funding helps us keep our weekly meetups at Williamson Park completely accessible and ensures we can continue organizing our regular community events without financial barriers for the men who need them most.
Hearing From The Team
We caught up with Ike to find out what motivated him to put his hard earned business revenue right behind the charity.
Ike Eastwood, Owner of Surgevolt Electrical:
“I have been following what James and the team are doing at No Man Left Inside for a while now and I can see the real impact it is having on local lads. Mental health is a massive issue especially for guys working in the trades where people still tend to bottle things up. I wanted to make this donation to support the movement and help make sure there is always a safe place for men to turn to when things get heavy.”
Our founder James Kelly was incredibly grateful for the unexpected boost to the charity coffers and emphasized just how far a donation like this goes.
James Kelly, Founder of NMLI:
“A massive thank you to Ike and everyone at Surgevolt Electrical for this brilliant gesture. Running these sessions takes a lot of time and resources behind the scenes so receiving a clean £300 donation gives us a massive boost. This money will go directly toward our ongoing community work, keeping our digital campfire running and making sure no man is left to struggle in isolation. We are completely blown away by the support.”
Supporting Those Who Support Us
When community minded businesses like Surgevolt Electrical step forward they prove that the battle against mental health struggles is something we are all tackling together as a pack. We are massively appreciative of Ike’s generosity and his willingness to stand in our corner.
